St. Philip the Apostle Catholic School reflects a strong curriculum and commitment to developing each student - intellectually, physically, and spiritually.
We ensure that our students develop foundational skills that will prepare them for their future. Our core curriculum consists of religious education, mathematics, reading, language arts, social studies, and science. In addition, computer instruction and library is provided for all grades, pre-algebra in the 6th and 7th grades, and algebra in 8th grade. We also provide art, physical education, music, and Spanish, and resource teachers for math and reading.
Our dedicated faculty creates a caring environment that allows each student to develop confidence and take risks. We use a variety of instructional approaches so that each child can learn according to his or her own style and ability. Students work independently and collaboratively to develop the interpersonal skills that are vital to their future success.
With a strong educational foundation and rigorous academic programs, our students are prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities of a changing multicultural society in the light of Christ’s teachings. Our school is fully accredited and teachers are certified in their specific areas. We are committed to academic excellence as reflected in the high test scores, placement, and achievements of our students.
